Mr Eugenio Lomba Tenjua  (ED Commercial & Investment)

An experienced economist holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidade Nova De Lisboa, (1982-1987).

Mr. Tenjua’s started his career as a Mathematics Teacher in a secondary school in Cova Da Piedade, Portugal, he then proceeded to his home country to serve as an Adviser in the Ministry of Economy and Finance (1987-1988). He worked in the Treasury as Director Studies Cabinet and he became Head of Section in the Social and Economic Development Institute,(1990-1994) and went on to become Director, Project management and evaluation, (1994-2002).

In view of his wealth of experience as an economist, he was appointed as chief economist in the commercial and investment department of the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority; he was pioneer Staff at the time of his appointment in 2002 until he retired in 2011. Because of his vast knowledge in commerce upon retirement he was then appointed as the Executive Director commercial and investment department of the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint development Authority by the government of Sao Tome and Principe in August, 2018.

Mr. Tenjua is a family man with children.
