NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PETROLEUM EXPLORATIONISTS (NAPE) TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS MEETING
At the invitation of Juvicle Energy, the Nigeria-Sao Tome & Principe Joint Development Authority (JDA) served as a key panelist at the National Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) Technical and Business Meeting held on 15th April 2026, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos. NAPE is the largest professional association for geoscientists and petroleum engineers in Nigeria and the broader African region, boasting of over 15,000 members. It is also known as the North American Prospect Expo for the energy industry. The technical presentation titled “Prospectivity of the Nigeria-Sao Tome & Principe Joint Development Zone” (JDZ), delivered by the Acting Chairman of the JDA, Mr. Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim, aimed at highlighting the JDZ as a premier destination for Oil and Gas investment within the West African Margin. Beyond the conference, the JDA views the presentation as a strategic launchpad for a broader ‘Road Show’ to stimulate renewed interest in the zone, to attract the technical and commercial partnerships necessary for its advancement. The conference had in attendance industry stakeholders, investors, academic professionals and geoscientists, providing an opportunity to build connections across the industry and foster collaborations and growth.
