Following the appointment of two (2) Nigerian Executive Directors by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu namely: Mr. Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim and Mr. Abdullahi Yari Mohammed, the Board of the JDA paid an official visit to the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome & Principe.

The meeting aimed to engage in high-level discussions with the President, Prime Minister and other relevant government officials of the DRSTP to address the challenges faced by the JDA, while proposing
Strategies and initiatives for sustainable funding.
The visit also presented an opportunity to participate at the ground breaking ceremony of the JDZ Block 7, 8 & 11 Social Project in Ponta Do Sol.
